Job Overview:
We're seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Operator to maintain accurate and organized records of purchases, invoices, and inventory. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our supermarket by providing essential administrative support and upholding data integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
Enter purchase orders, invoices, and receipts into our inventory management system accurately and efficiently.
Verify the accuracy of data inputs and resolve any discrepancies or errors promptly.
Update product information, pricing, and inventory levels as needed to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless communication and coordination across departments.
Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding data security, confidentiality, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Assist with special projects or assignments as assigned by management to support the overall objectives of the supermarket.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in data entry, administrative support, or related field preferred but not required.
Proficiency in typing and data entry with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with data entry software or systems preferred.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
