DATA GOVERNANCE EXPERT

What's this role about?
As a Data Governance Expert, you will be responsible for identifying data governance process issues, recommending next steps and rigor for data governance including process set up as well as leveraging technologies like Collibra, Alation or Atacama.

• Breaking through barriers: Helping create better customer experience by taking the data first approach and deliver Insights
• Adapting to anything: Agility to reacting and responding to new business priorities and market conditions and customer opportunities with rapidly deployable solutions
• Innovating anywhere: Solving problems with powerful solutions enabling Inter operable solutions across multiple lines of business
Skills required to contribute:
• +-12+ Years of experience in executing Data & Analytics projects with minimum 5+ years in a data governance including consulting and implementation of data governance modules like Collibra, Alation, Atacama
• Extensive experience in data warehousing, data quality management and master data management including cloud analytics like AWS, AZURE, GCP etc.
• 5+ years of Enterprise Data Management experience, minimum of 4 years in a Data Governance Expert or Lead role in a formal Data Governance program and/or a Senior Business / Data Analyst role.
• Experience in developing a Data Governance operating model where none exists today or assessing and improving on an existing Data Governance operating model.
• Experience working with business / technical development team / data stewards to clearly document Data Governance and metadata requirements.
• Should understand data privacy and security ( data authorization access policies enablement), governing data flow lineage in pipes, system to system
• Enable Data catalog Search/Discovery, Metadata hub
• Experience with Data Governance tools such as Collibra and Experience with Data Catalog tools such as Informatica EDC or Alation.
• Strong experience in interviewing and group facilitation.
• Good experience in Requirements Analysis and Solution Architecture Design, Data modelling, ETL, data integration and data migration design
• Well versed with Waterfall, Agile, Scrum and similar project delivery methodologies.
• Nice to have: Data governance certification
