This role requires a deep understanding of SQL Server architecture, performance tuning, database administration, and cloud-based SQL solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Maintaining, optimizing, and securing SQL databases.
• Ensuring high availability and disaster recovery through collaboration with other teams.
Qualifications:
• 5-10 years of experience in SQL Server database administration.
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server architecture, security, performance tuning, and high availability solutions.
• Proficiency in T-SQL and SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).
• Experience with database backup, restore, and recovery strategies.
• Familiarity with SQL Server monitoring tools and techniques.
• Solid understanding of database design, data modeling, and query optimization.
• Knowledge of SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of SQL scripting and automation using T-SQL, PowerShell, or other relevant scripting languages.
• Solid experience managing and optimizing Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics, and related services.
• Hands-on experience with migrating databases between on-premise and cloud environments.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues efficiently.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
