What We'll Bring:To provide designs and solutions for set up different databases and system application products as well as maintaining and supporting the system infrastructure components independently. That includes configuring the operating system and application system to provide on time system service to both internal/external customers, and acting as a Database Administrator in monitoring and administrating the application database, housekeeping of the application system to ensure the system healthy status. What You'll Bring: 1. System and Security maintenance of RDBMS and new Database (e.g. NoSQL DB) as well as Windows and Linux systems and network Infrastructure 2. Security and Incident management 3. Maintaining the database and application systems in a healthy status 4. Installation, configuration, database sizing, design, tuning, capacity planning 5. Troubleshooting of DB related issues and performance tuning 6. Monitoring and responding to system alerts and incidents 7. Evaluation/Deployment of new application system and IT technology 8. Provide support and resolve application cases in installation, system configuration, OS setup and diagnosis +. Execute and maintain the drill test of BCP regularly 10. Act as a backup role in the absence of Database Administrator 11. Ensure adequate documentation for all application and database related system 12. Technical and application support 13. Required remote/onsite support after office hours as well as during weekend or public holiday 14. Able to work independently with standalone problem solving capability. Minimum 3-7 years of relevant experience 3. In-depth experience in setup and administration of SQL server Database Administration, RDBMS (e.g. ORACLE, Informix, … etc) and other NoSQL DB (e.g. MongoDB) 4. Excellent skill in system and database sizing, design, tuning, DB reorganization, capacity planning and problem analysis 5. Unix/Linux administration experience preferably in RHEL Linux environment 6. Knowledge of monitoring tools Microsoft SCOM and Splunk 7. Excellent command of spoken and written English 8. Experience in using DB management tools such as Foglight +. Previous working experience in administration of other RDBMS will be favorable (e.g. SQL server, Oracle, DB2 or Informix) 10. Previous working experience in the Finance/Banking industry will be favorable 11.
