Introduction:
To provide database moderate experience capability on DB2 LUW L2 DBA on Unix environments or either MongoDB L2 DBA in the bank. Person should have sufficient capabilities to resolve simple MIM/Triage issues and take assistance on complex issues, work on RCA’s and provide service stability and service improvement.
As Database Administrator, they will
Manage and support DB2 LUW or MongoDB database systems
deliver database and infrastructure changes
Follow best ITIL based practices and standards.
Good communication skills verbally and in written format.
Ability to grow vertically and show case the good potential of learner and to gain more expertise in DB area.
Good team player and to showcase respect to all colleagues.
What will you be doing?
The resource will be working supporting database Operations and will continue to support databases primarily for DB2 Unix or MongoDB. Resource should be one who can contribute individually .
Take responsibility for completing tasks, focusing on requirements.
Provide robust support for DB2 Unix or MongoDB.
React quickly to resolve production issues at all times of the day
Take ownership of issues / enhancements and see them through to a suitable conclusion or take assistance with seniors to see it to resolution.
Understand timescales and priorities and balance these to ensure deliveries
Provide L2 support as part of 247 cover
Handle Incident,, events , change
