Role and Responsibilities - Provide guidance and support to Application Developers - Assist with schema design, code review, SQL query tuning - Install, tune, implement and upgrade DBMS installations - Worked in high scale architecture handling high transactional velocity with high concurrency - Build and maintain a robust data engineering process to develop and implement self-serve data and tools for Easebuzz data scientists - Process work accurately and in a timely manner Always pay attention to detail - Proactively and regularly make recommendations for system improvements - Collate, prepare and present statistical information for internal and external use - Find opportunities to create, automate and scale repeatable analyses or build self-service tools for business users - Execute data engineering projects ranging from small to large either individually or as part of a project team - Ensure project delivery within timelines and budget requirements - Provide coaching and mentoring to junior team members Qualifications and Education Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related information technology field - 4+ years of experience with database development and Architecture design - Easily design and implement a business process into functional and efficient code - Implement and manage company data management practices and policies - Min 2 years of experience in administering, managing and tuning databases - Min 3 years of experience with Postgres and Redshift - Good understanding of data and schema standards and concepts - Good understand database design, implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance - Expertise in SQL and willing to learn data engineering aspect. - Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success - Critical thinker and problem-solving skills - Team player - Good time-management skills - Great interpersonal and communication skills Preferred Skills Postgres, AWS Database, Redshift, Tableau, BI Tool, MySQL Salary: ₹2,400,000.00 - ₹2,700,000.00 per year Schedule: - Day shift Ability to commute/relocate: - Hinjawadi Village, Pune - 411057, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required) Experience: - total work: 4 years (preferred) Expected Start Date: 16/08/2026
