ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
An expert-level Database Administrator, with a strong primary skill set in
Microsoft SQL Server and hands-on experience in Oracle as a DBA or
developer, is a must.
Hands-on experience with SSIS and SSRS is a must.
Excellent knowledge of the development, implementation and
optimization of stored procedures and functions using T-SQL is a must.
Candidate must be familiar with Microsoft SQL Server/Oracle DBA
activities like Monitoring Jobs & Alerts, Database Migration and Issues,
Patching Activities and Issues, Clustering Installation and Issues, and
Database down Issues.
Provide after-hours support for database/app infrastructure when
required.
Familiarity with AIX is a plus.
Familiar with creating support tickets with Oracle/Microsoft support and
working with them.
Familiarity with Azure SQL is a plus.
Experience in other RDBMS platforms such as Sybase / PostgreSQL /
MongoDB / Cassandra or My SQL is a plus.
Microsoft / Oracle certification is a plus.
