About the Role:As a DBA at WinZO, you will be responsible for maintaining , securing and automating high volume databases storages. You will also be responsible to RBAC controls and selecting right database for use-cases. intelligence system to help us make better decisions. You will be working in a fast-paced environment which will require you to take initiatives with complete ownership, manage multiple projects, and drive execution with stakeholders.What you will do:Creates , Secure and maintains all databases required for development, testing and production usage.Performs the capacity planning required to create and maintain the databases and performs ongoing tuning of the database instances.Manage cloud engineering activities for the databases and would also drive automation activitiesResponsible for all functions associated with the implementation and maintenance of the databases including security, back-up, logging, reporting and recovery procedures.Manage data from multiple sources including internal, external, and 3rd party dataand assist in maintaining and improving database operational efficiencyImplements standard security policies and procedures to ensure the standard application security is in placeLead risks and resolving issues that affect release scope, schedule, and qualityWhat you should have:Were looking for people with a hustler mindset, who are curious, eager to learn new things, with a passion for innovation, and work to be a little better every single day. This is not solely based on whether a candidate has previously done similar work or not. Were looking for someone dynamic with below qualities in generous quantities to perform well in this role Tech/B.E in Computer Science, IT, or similar field; a Masters is a plus6 Experience working with Databases (SQL and NOSQL).Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL)Experience in a cloud environment, preferably AWS and databases services on it like RDS , DynamoDB etc.Experience working with both structured and unstructured data.Experience with a programming language preferably Python/GoGood to have working knowledge of Postgres/MongoDB/Apache Cassandra.Experience in IAAS.Most importantly a reliable team player and a strong desire to learn
