Primary Responsibilities
• Provides Operational support in the management of databases on which KNA’s applications store/retrieve data, troubleshooting and resolution to Incidents and Alerts, including escalation to provider as needed The position requires availability for on-call rotation and to work outside regular business hours and on weekends.
• Following and enforcing policies and procedures, Supports the deployment of code and execution of complex tasks on KNA databases, including but not limited to Application deployments, O/S and Databases engines patches and upgrades, Data refreshes in non-production environments, Security changes.
• Provides Operational KPIs to management and Database engineering team
• Maintain/upgrade DBA tools, and settings (directly or by request) of enterprise monitoring tools.
• Uses/maintain documentation/runbooks related to periodical tasks, like: upgrades, environment refresh tool, security changes.
• Engages and cooperates with the Database engineer team to improve processes and procedures
• Where applicable, cooperates with Vendors to optimize their work in Kaplan.
• Hybrid Schedule: 3 days remote / 2 days in the office
• 30-day notification period preferred
