Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled NoSQL Engineer with expertise in Cassandra to join our engineering team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of database architecture and a proven track record of designing and implementing high-performance NoSQL solutions.
Key Responsibilities:Design, implement and maintain large-scale Cassandra databases to support high availability, scalability and performance
Collaborate with cross functional teams to design and implement data models that meet business requirementsEnsure optimal performance and reliabilityAnalyze, troubleshoot and resolve database-related issuesPlan and execute database migrations, upgrades and scaling activitiesMonitor database performance and capacity utilization, and recommend optimizations as neededWork closely with development teams to integrate Cassandra solutions into applications and provide database supportCollaborate with security teams to ensure data protection and compliance requirements are met
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related fieldAt least 5 years of experience with Cassandra database administration and Overall minimum 7 years of experienceStrong understanding of Cassandra data modeling, tuning and performance optimizationExperience with Cassandra clustering, backup and recoveryKnowledge of Linux operating system and shell scriptingFamiliarity with Java, Python or other programming languagesExcellent problem solving, debugging and troubleshooting skills
