• What You'll Be Doing
• Ensure all database related problems assigned by the DBA Lead are resolved in a timely manner to minimize user impact. Coordinates and performs Clones, Application Installation Patches, and Upgrades.
• Conduct root cause analysis on persistent or major database related problems.
• Performs Application Maintenance as required.
• Research Application Issues.
• On-Call Support for project/production environment.
• Support Maintenance Outages throughout the year.

• (1) Incumbent has limited level of discretion to vary from established procedures, works under general supervision, and solves some straightforward problems. Incumbent generally has limited work experience involving basic concepts and procedures but requires formal training in theories/concepts in own function.
• (2) Incumbent has high level of discretion to vary from established procedures, works under broad supervision, and solves some complex problems. Incumbent generally has substantial work experience involving complex concepts and procedures in theories/concepts in own function.
• What We Are Looking For
• SQL Server DBA with experience of 4 - 7years
• Production support experience with SQL Server databases, and expertise with managing tickets and incidents
• Good Knowledge on Incidents/Request and CHANGE MANAGEMENT process
• Should have worked on ticketing system, ERP monitoring systems
• Strong Troubleshooting Skills
• On-Call Support for project/production environment
• Support Maintenance Outages throughout the year
• Should be willing to work in 24 x 7 shifts
• Should be willing to work on scheduled Weekend Activities like upgrades, patches
• Good to have Skills:
• Managing large scale MySQL databases
• Managing high transactional MySQL databases servicing OLTP
• Solid understanding of MySQL internal architecture, demonstrated experience with MySQL database design,implementation, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
• Demonstrated experience with Open Source/Linux development and production environments
• Hands on experience with designing and implementing database replication strategies
• 3 years plus working with MySQL technology.
• Good team player with strong analytical, communication and troubleshooting skills
