Job Description
We have a vacancy for a talented database administrator to manage our company’s Oracle and MS SQL database systems. To ensure success, the applicant requires to have expert knowledge in at least one database type and the willingness to gain skills and experience in others including Casandra.
This list of duties is not exhaustive, and the role may require other duties to be carried out:
Install and maintain the database software
Create storage structures
Set up user accounts
Debug malfunctioning database
Create backups
Maintain the database security
Design Provide database design support to the Systems Architect and manage database design change requests.
Responsible for maintaining database backups and restore.
Call and Incident Management
Develop database triggers and PL/SQL / TSQL packages
Provide support for database migrations
Personal Attributes
The key requirement is for the candidates to have the desire to learn and work as a team member. The right candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, and hands-on experience with Oracle or SQL database management.
