Mydala is hiring for mysql Database Administrator
Location- New Delhi
Position Type- Full Time
Education- Minimum BS Computer Science or equivalent
Work Experience- Min. 5 years’ experience as a DBA or equivalent
If being the hero and not just ‘the tech guy’ sitting in a dark cavernous corner is what you want, come on
over to our Technology Team. You think you can list at least 3 strategies to hot-backup a live db running
at 10 queries per second without a single second of downtime. Then, you are applying at a right place.
Roles and Responsibilities
Develop and support MySQL database replication
Optimize MySQL database performance
Estimate MySQL database capacities; develop methods for monitoring database capacity and
usage
Establish mechanisms for data backup/restore of relational databases; provide restoration
services as needed
Develop and optimize physical design of MySQL database systems
Develop application-specific fault-tolerant distributed database mechanisms
Design, create and implement new database environments including HA and replication setups.

Ideal Candidate
Demonstrated experience with relational database physical design
Demonstrated experience with relational database performance tuning and capacity planning
especially on MySQL based environments
Experience with open source/linux development and production environment is CRITICAL
