We're looking for a Database Administrator MySQL/PostgreSQL/MongoDB - EdCast (Mumbai, India)

In this role you will….
• Be a key player in managing the complex data systems deployed globally in AWS environment
• Lead and participate in designing and implementing the database solutions in Cloud environment. The databases include MySQL PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, ElasticSearch and Data Lakes
• Build and manage production, QA and development environments in AWS and GCP clouds.
• Maintain correct configurations and parameters to ensure proper database performance
• Ensure adequate storage capacity, system resources, archiving and backups.
• Work closely with development teams to optimize queries during SDLC phase and in production environment
• Work with security team on Implementing security processes and controls
• Work closely with our developers to troubleshoot application and infrastructure issues
• Participation in the selection and implementation of new tools and technologies to support new product initiatives
• Be part of 24/7 on-call support and troubleshoot production issues as required
• Manage assigned tasks in JIRA and communicate issues and status to stakeholders you Are:

You’ve Got What It Takes If You Have…
• 4+ years of Work Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related subject.
• 4+ years of proven experience as a Database administrator in a cloud environment
• Excellent knowledge of data backups, recovery, data security and SQL queries optimization.
• Familiarity with database design, documentation and coding
• Experience with common data systems like MySQL PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch, MongoDB
• Excellent understanding of system availability, security and performance management.
• Experience working in AWS cloud environment.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and desire to resolve system issues
• Demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment
