We are looking for a highly experienced Senior MS SQL Database Administrator with over 10 years of experience managing and optimizing MS SQL databases. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of the latest MS SQL features, including Always On, In-Memory, Distributed Availability Group, Read Routing, row-level encryption, and security audit.
Qualifications
• Education:
• BE/B.Tech/M. Tech/MCA/ME in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or Telecommunication Engineering.
• Certifications (any one):
• Microsoft MS-SQL Server 2012 and above
• MCSE (Data Platform and Business Intelligence) or MCDBA
• MySQL Database Developer/Administrator
• MongoDB Certified DBA/Developer
Required Skills and Experience
• 10+ years with MS SQL and latest features.
• Expertise in Always On, In-Memory, Distributed Availability Group, Read Routing, row-level encryption.
• Proven experience in:
• Performance tuning and optimization.
• Backup and recovery strategies.
• Database integrity and security.
• Installing and upgrading servers.
• Resource planning.
• Database modification and user management.
• License compliance.
• Report creation.
• Database migration.

• Performance and Security:
• Develop and test backup and recovery plans.
• Maintain storage, archiving, and recovery procedures.
• Write database documentation and control access.
• Ensure data protection compliance.
• Optimize database performance.
• Reporting and Support:
• Create standard and ad hoc reports.
• Provide technical support for database systems and applications.
• Migration and Upgrades:
• Migrate databases to new hardware and software versions, including cloud transitions.
