Required Skills:
• 1+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong expertise in PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MySQL
• Must have strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Must have experience in PostgreSQL database architecture, logical and physical design,
• Automation, documentation, shell scripting, Stored procedure programming, query tuning, system tuning, resource contention analysis, backup, and recovery, standby, replication etc.
• Must have substantial hands-on knowledge on AWS Cloud and Azure Cloud.
• Certified PostgreSQL DBA(CPSDBA) (preferred).
• AWS Solutions Architect – Associate level certified (preferred)..
• AWS RDS Specialty certified (preferred).
• PostgreSQL deployment and implementation support (24\7\365).
• Hands-on experience on HA Configuration.
• Must have strong knowledge of Linux/Unix & Windows.
• Strong understanding of command line and server administration.
• Knowledge of shell scripting (e.g., Bash, Perl).
• Understanding of PHP, Perl and web application framework.
Desired Skills:
• Strong knowledge of DevOps technologies
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify issues before they become problems
• Experience building cloud data solutions
• Possess working knowledge of agile development methodologies including DevOps concepts
• Experience with cloud SDKs and programmatic access services
• Proficient in a relevant programming language for cloud platforms (e.g., Python, Shell, Java, etc)
Role and Responsibilities:
• Review and propose database technologies, deployment topologies and stabilize Ops.
• Lead efforts to develop and improve procedures for automated monitoring and proactive intervention, reducing any downtime need.
• Hands-on Realtime experience in AWS Cloud (EC2, RDS & Aurora), S3 Backups, Replication, cloud migration tools and DR activity.
• Hands-on Realtime experience in AWS automation tools and Lambda.
• Hands-on Realtime experience in Azure Cloud.
• Develop Stored Procedures and Database Triggers in support of application development.
• Participate in application development projects and be responsible for the database architecture and design.
• Participate in the creation of development, staging, and production database instances, and the migration from one environment to another.
• Responsible for developing SQL code review to ensure queries are optimized and tuned to perform efficiently prior to production release.
• Responsible for regular backups and recovery of databases.
• Responsible for regular maintenance on databases (e.g., Re-indexing, Archiving).
• Responsible for pro-active remediation of database operational problems.
• Responsible for Query tuning and preventative maintenance.
• Participate in a 24×7 support rotation.
• Support complex web-based applications.
• Responsible for the monitoring and uptime of all production databases.

Salary: ₹500,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
