Job Description
Database Administrators / Reliability Engineers (DBA / DBRE) are responsible for maintaining database systems that support all production systems running smoothly 24/7/365.
DBA's / DBREs work in partnership with our SRE, infrastructure, and development teams.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure database versions are current and fully patched and monitored
• Ensure databases are sized to provide optimum performance / cost
• Ensure database backups / restores are operational
• Ensure database logging and performance tools are operational
• Construct and maintain automated database change pipelines
• Provide assistance to software developers assistance with database changes and performance improvements
