The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, installing and managing our databases. You will ensure optimal database performance by analyzing database issues and monitoring database performance.

Responsibilities
Preparing and maintaining test/production/development environment
Backup database and application source code
Installation, configuration and upgrading of MS SQL/Oracle/MySQL/ Server software and related products
Establish and maintain sound backup and recovery policies and procedures
Perform database tuning and performance monitoring.
Implement and maintain database security (create and maintain users and roles, assign privileges)
Perform general technical trouble shooting and give consultation to development teams.
Patch Management and Version Control of Various components of DB and Application Servers.
Installation, configuration and upgrading of Application Software and related products.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Technology, or a related field of study
Proven knowledge of SQL Servers
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

Technical Skill Set Required:
IIS/Web Logic/ Web Sphere Application Server Configuration and Management.
Database and Application backup planning and execution.
Database Tuning tools/functions knowledge for Performance.
Linux and Windows OS workable knowledge
Oracle/DB2/MySQL/MS Sql Database Installation to Management.
Experience:7 to 10 years
