· Experience in MS SQL Server is must.
· Having working knowledge in other databases are huge plus
· Design, develop, troubleshoot databases, working experience in database monitoring and migration tools, etc.
· Design, develop automation for database provision, backup, upgrade, clone etc
· Having good working knowledge in application storage, database storage, data backup, data archiving, and disaster recovery solutions
· Having good knowledge in database upgrades, patch upgrade etc using automation
Good-to-Have
· Having good understanding about cloud environments
· Familiar with both traditional (bare metal servers, virtual machines) and cloud native (Docker, Kubernetes) infrastructure.
· Basic knowledge of infrastructure automation (Terraform, Chef, Ansible)
· Basic knowledge of python and shell scripting
· Having good knowledge in database consulting, performance tuning, database consolidation, preparing solution to RFP response etc
