Job Responsibilities
• The candidate would be responsible Working with various application teams on Oracle issues as well as In other database also. This includes performance tuning, database design & modeling and PL/SQL development work and Production issue.
• The candidate will also be involved in enterprise level database design and modeling work.
• Candidate will be involved PL/SQL development for high demand Datawarehouse/OLTP/reporting applications.
• Hands-on experience in developing and managing enterprise wide BI Development encompassing Database Design, Data warehousing, ETL, BI Development working with cross-functional teams.
• Should be able to debug application code and tuned it written in other DB platform like SQL Server, AWS Redshift for high demand OLTP/Reporting applications.
• Candidate will be involved in Scripting using Shell scripting, Python
• Coordinate with all the stack holders to understand the requirement and develop applications with strong focus on performance.
• Experience in leading and owning the responsibilities of a single or multiple projects with the overall team size of 3 or more
• Provide the required technical guidance & support to the team
• Ability to handle and deliver the multiple small to medium projects under difficult situations and tight deadline
• Good exposure to the system design, system integration, project planning and estimation techniques
• Positive attitude, real passion for strong work ethic, ability to execute independently yet also maintain a strong team orientation
• Strong analytic, debugging, problem solving and collaborative skills

Experience / Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree with around 10+ years of expertise in Oracle/PLSQL development , Database design and modelling(Logical and Physical) and performance tuning.
• Very strong in Performance tuning and Database design , Writing Advance SQL Query
• Exposure to Other Database like Sybase, SQL-server, AWS Redshift is an added advantage
• Exposure to cloud technology like AWS
• Sound experience in development and support areas in a large-scale world-class application especially in the Finance Industry
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to liaise with all the stake holder
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• High standard of quality, attention to detail and organizational aptitude.
• Willingness to learn new technical and finance skills.
• Desire and ability to learn quickly
• Knowledge of Capital markets/Asset Classes is an added advantage.
