Job Summary:
We are seeking a Hybrid Data Engineer & Database Administrator to manage our data infrastructure and pipelines, primarily within the Microsoft Fabric environment. This role involves building and optimizing scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, maintaining cloud & on-premise databases, and ensuring efficient data access for reporting. Key Responsibilities:
• Data Engineering (50%): Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines, integrate data sources, and develop data models for analytics and reporting.
• Database Administration (40%): Manage cloud and on-premise databases (e.g., Azure, SQL), perform regular maintenance, optimize query performance, and ensure secure data storage.
• Professional Development (10%): Stay current on cloud technologies, data tools, and best practices.
Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience in data management, database administration, and ETL/ELT pipeline development (Microsoft SQL, Azure, etc.).
