• Experience within an IT environment which provides the necessary skills, knowledge and abilities.
• Five years relevant experience with SQL Server databases or maintaining a production environment
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server database management tools.
• Strong knowledge of Always On Availability Groups with Data Replication
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server operational best practices.
• Ability to work varying hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
• Ability to understand and solving performance issues and tuning.
Additional Skills Required For Senior Database Administrator
• Ability to make technical recommendations. Demonstrated high level of competency in SQL Server database administration.
• Thorough knowledge of and ability to use SQL Server database utilities and management tools.
• Thorough knowledge of SQL and PowerShell programming.
• Advanced knowledge of communication layer between client, network and SQL Server databases.
• Advanced knowledge of and demonstrated competency in all facets of SQL Server database administration
