About the role...
We are currently seeking a Payroll Officer to join our Human Resources team. This role focuses on assisting our current Payroll Manager with their duties as well as providing coverage during our busy periods.
In this role, you will assist with payroll operations and manage relationships with employees regarding their compensation. You'll need to proactively handle payroll processing and seek opportunities to streamline procedures. Success in this position requires a collaborative team spirit, alongside the capability to work independently, demonstrate initiative and maintain meticulous organisation.
Qualifications and experience...
Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Proven experience in database administration, including planning, configuration, and support.
Strong proficiency in resolving user tickets and escalations, with excellent problem-solving skills.
Experience in overseeing system upgrades and rollouts, ensuring minimal disruption.
Ability to provide effective training to users and promote system proficiency.
Familiarity with HRIS and HR-related surveys.
Proficiency in data analysis and visualisation tools.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining data integrity.
Ability to contribute to projects and initiatives, with a focus on continuous improvement.
