Job Description
We are seeking a nurturing, energetic, and responsible Daycare Teacher to join our childcare team. The Daycare Teacher will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children, fostering their development in areas such as social, emotional, cognitive, and physical skills. The ideal candidate is passionate about working with young children and has experience in early childhood education.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times.
Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development.
Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment.
Observe and document children's progress and communicate with parents regarding their child’s daily activities and development.
Encourage positive behavior and manage classroom discipline in a constructive and caring manner.
Collaborate with other daycare staff to create a cohesive and supportive team environment.
Assist with feeding, diapering, and toileting as necessary, following hygiene and safety guidelines.
Follow the center’s policies and procedures, and comply with all state and local regulations related to childcare.
Attend regular staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development workshops.
