We are looking for an experience DX2 Database Administrator to join our team. IBM DB2 Database administrator position requires self-motivation and technical proficiency in the installation, configuration, and administration of DB2 UDB Databases including effective troubleshooting abilities. This position is focused on providing end to end support to the designated application technology stack to ensure maximum uptime for Production Systems. Overall responsible for availability, performance tuning and scalability of the databases.
We are looking for an IBM certified Database Administrator with 5-+ years of experience supporting DB2 Databases on Unix and Windows operating systems.
The candidate must demonstrate solid experience with Incident management, change management, Problem management and solid administration skills to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the supported environment.
The candidate should be able to provide SME level of support to 1st level Administrators within the team.
The job includes working with the various technology teams, developers, vendors, and management of new landscape setup.
The Engineer will be responsible for the administration, installation, configuration, and support of DB2 databases on standalone and clustered environment for multiple clients.
