• Hardware analysis (Disk I/O, Network I/O, Processors, Memory)
• Database Configuration Management
• Database Capacity Planning and Monitoring
• Troubleshooting
• Wait State Analysis
• Database Backups/Restores Technologies
• Implementing New Database servers in a Virtual Environment
• Database Design Skills including Normalization and Data Warehouse design
• Strong TSQL skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Structured Troubleshooting Skills
• SQL Query Performance Tuning experience
• Log Shipping, Mirroring and Always-on technologies
• Replication
• Experience with SentryOne and other 3rd party Monitoring Tools
• Experience in the healthcare industry, a plus
