Job Description Job Description For DBA Engineer Install and configure new SQL Servers. Deploy database change scripts provided by developers. Hands on command on backup and restore strategies Using Profiler traces and other tools to find the most frequently run queries. On-call troubleshooting for SQL Server service outages Good command on SQL server Performance and Query tuning. Good in system Failover/disaster recovery techniques e.g. Availability Groups, clustering, Log shipping mirroring etc. Should have Good knowledge of index maintenance and SQL server internals. Basic knowledge of C#/VB and ETL tools like SSIS and SSRS will be a plus.
