Job Description
Required Skills:
• Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Certified Associate
• Proven experience assessing client’s Oracle workloads and technology landscape for OCI suitability, Including OCI Network and Security design for complex architectures to support high availability and disaster recovery requirements.
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
Nice To Have Skills
• Oracle EBS Apps DBA Implementation and Production Support experience
• Knowledge of best practices and market trends pertaining to Cloud and overall industry to provide thought leadership (seminars, whitepapers etc.) and mentor team to build necessary capability.
• In depth knowledge of Oracle SaaS and PaaS
Role Description
• Study existing technology landscape and understand current application workloads.
• Understand and document technical requirements from clients.
• Define Migration strategy to move applications to the IaaS/PaaS.
• Develop architecture blueprints and detailed documentation. Create bill of materials, including required Cloud Services and tools.
• Design the overall Virtual Private Cloud VPC environment including server instance, storage instances, subnets, availability zones, etc.
• Design the Cloud network architecture including VPN connectivity between regions and subnets.
• Design the HA / DR strategies
• Set up process, services and tools around cloud.
• Oversee build of the environment.
• Execute migration plan.
• Leverage appropriate Oracle Cloud services.
• Validate the environment to meets all security and compliance controls.
• Support go-to-market activities as a sales Cloud Architect
Relevant Experience
• 8-10 Years of Oracle Technology project implementation and/or production support experience
• 2+ years of Cloud Infrastructure implementation and/or support experience (OCI preferably)
• System Integrator Consulting Experience
Qualifications
An OCI certified candidate with a strong background and understanding of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and technology as well as experience designing and migrating applications to the cloud.
Total Experience Expected: 08-10 years
