Job Description Job Description For DBA (SQL) Job Objective Objective of this job is to administer databases (Microsoft Technologies) for IT projects; conduct preventive and corrective steps for DB upkeep; Evaluate Technical architectures and provide recommendations Core Responsibilities Candidates with strong database administration experience on SQL Server 2008 /SQL server 2012 and need to updated himself in latest version . o Data structures / DB schema - advise on DB tables /data storage & retrieval - optimize performance o Help application teams identifying work flow optimizations - proactively o Maintain and share web analytics & reporting - application and DB o DB issues troubling shooting & o Optimization of DB issues - run time /periodic DB activities - monitoring indexes/ DB health. Conversant with Microsoft technologies (.NET 3.5.x or higher), Visual Studio2010/.NET Potential candidate should working knowledge on below o Data modeling techniques o Tomcat/Apache/ IIS application servers o Designing techniques and supporting tools o Legacy Application/data Migration - operational and implementation o Application Integration - DB/code driven compatibilities o MVC2 architecture Candidate Profile
