Full job description
An exciting opportunity has become available for the professional services and skills of an experienced and organised Accountant to join Inchurch Automotive. This role will be working closely with the Financial Controller to ensure smooth and efficient operation across the business. You will ensure that clerical routines within the Administration Department are in line with dealership policy and compliant with statutory regulations.
You will be responsible for:
· Assist with or independently formulate budgeting and accounting processes across several business departments
· Prepare and maintain financial statements for use by stakeholders within our business and by our parent company
· Conduct financial investigations, prepare reports, undertake audits and advise on all areas of business related to taxation, finance and asset management
· Prepare taxation returns
· Work with our sales department to advise on fleet and business purchases
· Liaise with external financial institutions and brokerages
· Manage establish accounting systems and advise on improvements whilst maintaining internal control systems
· Manage internal control systems
To be successful you will have:
At least 2+ years of experience in an accounting field
A strong interest in finance and accounting fields with relevant qualification
Self-motivated, proactive attitude, can-do attitude
The ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
The ability to work unsupervised and in a team environment
Intermediate to advanced level Microsoft Office skills
Experience in automotive and using Dealer Management Systems is highly advantageous
Inchurch Automotive operates automotive dealerships in Parramatta, Camellia and Prospect representing a number of leading automotive brands.
