Decontamination Assistant
Nuffield Health Brentwood Hospital | Nursing | Bank contract | Part time | Includes weekend work
Hourly Rate Depends On Experience
Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad-hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability.

As a Decontamination Assistant in theatre at our Brentwood Hospital, you’ll be highly motivated and enjoy working somewhere that’s constantly and rapidly changing. You’ll show real empathy and find the challenges of theatre work fascinating. As well as great communication skills, you’ll bring a flexible approach to both your duties and hours.
As a Decontamination Assistant in Endoscopy, you will:
• To ensure that the decontamination area is prepared and maintained
• Decontamination and cleaning of scopes
• Completion of documentation, audits and tracking of process
• Play a key role in a fast-paced environment
• Work flexibly to support our team

Hospital facilities include 42 beds, 4 Theatres, an Endoscopy Suite, 16 consulting rooms, MRI, CT, General Imaging, Pathology, Physiotherapy, and an onsite Pharmacy. We are established as one of the leading providers of healthcare in the area and have just completed a major refurbishment of the Endoscopy Unit.
