Title: Delivery Architect - Apps
Location: Toronto, ON (onsite)
Key Responsibilities
Solution Architecture
Develop comprehensive High-Level Designs (HLDs) aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
Lead and drive architecture reviews, ensuring adherence to 4C model (Context, Containers, Components, Code).
Prepare and maintain all architectural artefacts, including:
Application communication diagrams
Sequence diagrams
Security and threat modelling diagrams
Data flow diagrams
Data governance requirements
Evaluate architectural options, clearly articulating trade-offs, risks, and recommendations.
Lead security reviews and ensure all architectural and data governance concerns are addressed.
Delivery Management
Oversee release cycles, proactively identifying and escalating issues related to security, architecture, or design alignment with the HLD.
Ensure delivery teams remain aligned with architectural direction, non-functional requirements, and development standards.
Coordinate across cross-functional teams to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery.
Stakeholder Leadership
Engage and manage diverse stakeholders including product owners, business partners, development teams, and security/governance groups.
Communicate architectural decisions, risks, and delivery updates in a clear and structured manner.
Required Skills & Experience
Strong experience in solution architecture and technical delivery roles.
Solid understanding of AWS services, cloud architecture patterns, and best practices.
Hands-on [or Strong Knowledge] familiarity with Java, Angular, and Node.js ecosystems.
Knowledge of data architecture including data flows, governance, and integration patterns.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Nice-to-Have
Experience within the banking or financial services industry.
Exposure to regulatory, compliance, and data governance frameworks relevant to financial institutions.
