Delivery Driver
at Zen Leaf Chandler, AZ Position Summary
The Driver is responsible for daily customer service on a given route which distributes a high volume of packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
Duties / Responsibilities / Tasks
• Drive a delivery van to deliver product orders to clients.
• Adhering to assigned routes and comply with the allotted timeframe given to complete the designated route.
• Follow strict safety standards on and off the road.
• Obey traffic laws and follow established traffic and transportation procedures.
• Verify contents of inventory loads against invoices / transportation manifests
• Interact with clients and vendors in a professional and positive manner.
• Complete routine safety check of delivery vehicle including fluid check, tire pressure, etc.
• Transfer returned / rejected product back to location
• Responsible for unloading of company vehicle, ensure all returned / rejected product is placed in proper designated area.
• Maintain a professional, safe, and clean work environment and vehicle
• Support Packaging department in assembling products and packaging during downtime.
• Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required or assigned.
Job Requirements
• Previous experience in order / package delivery required.
• Must be able to stand for at least 6 hours per day and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to follow SOP.
• Must be able to perform other duties as assigned.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid drivers license and a clean driving record.
• Must be able to operate and navigate a delivery van.
• Must be able to successfully register with the states ******** commission as an agent.
• Must be able to comply with all laws, regulations, and policies associated with the industry.
Physical and Mental Demands :
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to remain in a stationary position, move and / or position oneself, communicate, operate and / or prepare, place, position objects, tools, or controls.
The employee must occasionally move packages weighing up to 50 lb. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close observation and the ability to adjust focus.
