Delivery Driver with Van
Company description

Harvey's Building Supplies is a one stop shop servicing the property management industry since 1948! We supply to buildings and contractors all their needs including plumbing, electrical, construction, hardware, cleaning, seasonal, pest control, and many other products. We pride ourselves in our excellent customer service and the relationships we have developed with our customers over the years.

Job description

Harvey's Building Supplies is looking for a driver with their own cargo van to deliver building supplies in the GTA and beyond.

Responsibilities include assisting loading the van with material, contacting delivery sites to notify when the material will arrive and offloading the material into the delivery site designated area.

Applicants must:

Have their own cargo van (1 ton)
Have a valid driver's license
Have a cell phone and be willing to use it to contact delivery sites
Be reliable and punctual
Have strong organizational skills with attention to details
Have strong communication skills
Be polite and courteous to customers
Be capable of frequent lifting of heavy and large sized objects (eg cases of ceramic tile, drywall, etc)
Previous delivery experience recommended but not required.

Payment is per delivery and amount is dependent on size and number of boxes and/or items delivered - earn up to $300 per day! Payment is weekly!

Job Types: Fly-In/Fly-Out, Freelance

Pay: $50.00-$300.00 per day
