We are looking for a collaborative Delivery Lead who will play a critical role in enabling the successful delivery of strategic initiatives, and technology and data solutions. In this position you will have the opportunity to lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality outcomes that align with business goals, ensuring delivery is efficient, transparent, and value-driven.

What You’ll Be Doing | Mō te Tūranga

Delivery Planning and Execution

Lead the delivery of initiatives, ensuring alignment with the product vision and roadmap defined by the Value Stream Lead or Platform Lead.
Translate high-level goals into actionable delivery plans, managing timelines, risks, and dependencies across teams.
Ensure delivery is predictable, transparent, and continuously improving through Agile and hybrid methodologies.
Coordinate with other leads to manage interdependencies and ensure cohesive delivery across streams
Leadership and Enablement

Work with Value Stream Leads and Delivery Product Owners to ensure alignment between strategic intent, delivery execution and customer value.
Participate in joint planning, prioritisation and governance forums to maintain transparency, resolve conflicts and drive shared accountability.
Define decision rights and escalation pathways to support fast, aligned decision-making.
Foster a high-performing, empowered team culture that values collaboration, accountability and continuous learning.
Coach and support team members in agile practices, delivery discipline and cross-functional collaboration.
Stakeholder Collaboration

Partner closely with Product Owners, business sponsors, and technical leads to ensure shared understanding of goals, priorities and constraints.
Facilitate regular communication and feedback loops to manage expectations and maintain alignment across stakeholders.
Act as a delivery advocate, ensuring that business and customer value is realized through effective execution.
Champion psychological safety and team health, ensuring a sustainable pace of work.
Technical Coordination and Feasibility

Collaborate with architects, platform owners and engineering leads and commercial teams to ensure solutions are technically feasible, scalable, sustainable, and aligned to architecture guardrails and commercial viability.
Support the Product Owner in evaluating trade-offs between short-term delivery and long-term maintainability.
Identify and manage technical risks and dependencies proactively.
Manage technical debt, scalability, and maintainability in partnership with architecture and platform teams.
Agile Delivery Practices

Facilitate agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
Drive continuous improvement through regular team retrospectives and feedback cycles.
Support program-level planning and coordination across multiple teams or value streams.
Facilitate Scrum of Scrums to manage cross-team dependencies, surface delivery risks and enable alignment across squads
Value Realisation and Quality General

Promote a culture of accountability for outcomes, not just outputs, by enabling transparency, timely feedback loops, and quality assurance practices across delivery teams.
Work with the Product Owner to track delivery metrics and support benefit realisation. • Promote a culture of accountability for outcomes, not just outputs. Vendor and Partner Coordination
Manage delivery contributions from external vendors and partners, ensuring alignment with internal teams and delivery standards, working with appropriate internal platform leads where necessary.
Negotiate delivery timelines and expectations, ensuring external dependencies are well integrated into plans.
About You | Mōu

Proven experience as a Delivery Lead, Project Manager, or Scrum Master in a scaled agile or hybrid environment.
Strong background in stakeholder engagement and team leadership.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex delivery across multiple teams or workstreams.
Excellent facilitation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with digital transformation, platform delivery, or enterprise systems.
