A new transformational adventure awaits you…

How does 5 weeks of annual leave, a fulfilling career you'll genuinely enjoy, and working for a reputable organization that promotes wellbeing and drives digital transformation sound to you?

Join us on this thrilling journey as we work towards our vision of becoming Australia's leading digital insurer. If you're eager to be part of a values-driven global organisation that's experiencing real growth and transformation, and if you share our commitment to making a tangible difference and taking continuous steps towards a sustainable future for our people, customers, communities, and our planet, then keep reading!

Let’s create a brighter future together, let’s make a difference

It’s important to know, what you do matters. At Zurich, we don’t just cover, we care.

As a Delivery Lead, you’ll play a pivotal role in enabling teams to deliver meaningful outcomes that make a real difference for our customers and our business. Sitting within our Strategic Execution Team in our Technology and Transformation function, this role exists to create the right conditions for delivery success by bringing clarity, alignment, and momentum across squads, crews, and stakeholders.

Working closely with Crew Leads, Product Owners, and senior leaders, you’ll help translate strategy into action, ensuring initiatives are delivered efficiently, aligned to our priorities, and focused on outcomes rather than outputs. You’ll be a key enabler in our journey towards becoming Australia’s leading digital insurer. This role suits experienced delivery leaders who operate beyond individual squads and help lift delivery confidence and performance across the system.

In addition to enabling strong squad and crew delivery, you will also be responsible for the following:

Own delivery health across a defined business area, balancing priorities, capacity, dependencies, and outcomes across multiple initiatives, supported by clear delivery metrics.
Enable strategy-to-execution decisions, helping leaders understand what’s achievable, how to sequence work, and where trade-offs or stop/defer calls are needed.
Provide clear delivery judgement using insight and data to surface risks early, frame options, and support governance and leadership forums with decision-ready views.
Maintain an end-to-end portfolio view and step in early on critical initiatives when confidence, flow, or outcomes are at risk.
Manage delivery flow by minimising work-in-progress, improving predictability, and resolving dependencies across squads/crews and initiatives so teams finish what matters most.
Drive clarity in OKR tracking and value realisation, not just progress reporting, and challenge high-effort/low-impact work.
Build strong relationships with Crew Leads, Product Owners and senior stakeholders to improve alignment, ways of working, and sustainable delivery.

Important to your success – let’s grow together

You’re a calm and confident delivery leader who thrives in complexity and change, bringing people together around a shared purpose. You balance pragmatism with curiosity, influence with empathy, and are comfortable working across diverse stakeholders to create momentum and clarity.

To be successful, you will have the following:
Significant experience leading delivery in technology and/or digital environments
Demonstrated track record enabling outcomes through cross-functional, agile teams
Experience working across product and agile delivery, and traditional project/program delivery approaches
Proven ability to manage complex dependencies, risks, and delivery change in dynamic environments
Strong commercial awareness, with a focus on value realisation and measurable outcomes
Experience working with OKRs (or similar outcome frameworks), supporting teams to set measurable objectives and track progress and value realisation
Strong tooling capability (e.g., Jira and Confluence) to support transparent planning, delivery reporting and insights, and the responsible use of AI to improve delivery efficiency (e.g., reducing manual reporting, accelerating analysis, and highlighting risks and dependencies)
Experience coaching teams and leaders to lift delivery maturity and embed continuous improvement
