Job Description
The Breakfast Chef will primarily work breakfast shifts, with flexibility to support other kitchen operations as required, including Fresco’s À La Carte Restaurant and Banqueting.
Candidate qualities:
Prepare and cook breakfast buffet and à la carte menu items to a high standard
Maintain consistency, quality, and presentation across all dishes
Contribute flair, creativity, and innovation in line with hotel standards
Ensure all hotel policies and procedures are followed
Maintain high standards of kitchen hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety
Support other kitchen sections when required
Must have
Experience in a similar 4.5 to 5 star hotel environment
Chef Trade Qualifications - Cert III Commercial Cookery
Ability to start work at 4:30am with the flexibility to work a variety of shifts including weekends and public holidays.
Energetic, enthusiastic, and reliable attitude
Ability to work collaboratively with kitchen and service teams
