An opportunity to join our growing team has become available, and we are currently seeking a Site Labourer.
Key Responsibilities
Perform various tasks for site operations
Abide by regulations and company health & safety procedures, policies and rules
Follow all health & safety safe work procedures
Attend and participate in site H&S meetings and activities
Follow training and instructions from Site Foreman, be clear about how to perform work tasks
Clarify questions and concerns with Site Foreman
Work safely to protect yourself and others at all times
Inspect and assess work area for hazards
PPE: inspect prior to use, properly use and maintain
Hand tools: inspect prior to use, proper use and maintain
Power tools: inspect prior to use, proper use and maintain
Reporting: defective PPE & tools, site hazards, injuries and incidents
Participate in training
Arrive at site on time, contact Foreman if late or absent
Qualifications & Skills
Follow instructions
Willingness to learn, accept corrections
Physically able to handle manual labour work tasks
Work with various hand and power tools
Work in different environments, site conditions
Work effectively with others
Communicate well
Education & Experience
Completion of secondary school or equivalent.
Previous demolition experience is an asset.
Work Schedule
Full-time, permanent position.
Standard shifts with occasional flexibility required depending on project needs.
