Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Denodo Developer to design, implement, and maintain data virtualization solutions using the Denodo Platform. The ideal candidate will collaborate with data teams to optimize data integration, improve data accessibility, and deliver high-performance data solutions for business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop data virtualization layers using the Denodo Platform.
• Build and maintain data views, queries, and REST APIs for real-time data access and integration.
• Optimize Denodo queries to ensure high performance and low-latency data retrieval.
• Collaborate with data engineers and stakeholders to integrate Denodo with databases, cloud platforms, and ETL/BI tools.
• Implement security and access control for Denodo views and APIs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks and data integration issues.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for Denodo configurations, processes, and best practices.
Required Skills and Experience:
• 4+ years of experience working with the Denodo Platform for data virtualization.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and query optimization.
• Experience integrating Denodo with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL), cloud data warehouses, and NoSQL systems.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, SOAP services, and web service integration using Denodo.
• Understanding of data security, governance, and role-based access control.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to debug complex data integration workflows.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with BI and reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Familiarity with ETL tools and data pipelines.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
