Company Description

Are you a Dental Assistant/Receptionist with a passion for patient care? Family Care Orthodontists is seeking a friendly, motivated, and team-oriented Dental Assistant/Receptionist to join our practice on a casual basis.

Experience is preferred but not essential. The role involves clinical chairside assisting and front desk responsibilities, so strong communication skills and a professional manner are a must.


Job Description
Assist our Clinicians in providing high-quality dental care to patients.
Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for dental procedures.
Sterilise and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care.
Manage front-of-house duties, ensuring a smooth and welcoming patient experience.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Schedule and coordinate patient appointments.

Qualifications
Experienced Dental Assistant, Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting is advantageous.
Knowledge of dental software.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience and knowledge of sterilisation protocols and guidelines.
Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
