Dental Front Desk Scheduling Coordinator (In-Office)

Position Overview
Golden Rule Dental is seeking a highly organized, patient-focused Dental Front Desk Scheduling Coordinator to join our growing practice. This is a key in-office role responsible for managing daily schedule flow, supporting treatment coordination, and delivering a professional, welcoming patient experience.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, confident communicating with patients regarding appointments and financial expectations, and comfortable working in a fast-paced dental environment where organization and efficiency are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and optimize the daily patient schedule to support productivity and minimize gaps
Coordinate appointments, treatment scheduling, and recall systems
Greet patients professionally and oversee check-in/check-out processes
Communicate clearly with patients regarding appointments, treatment timing, and financial expectations
Verify insurance benefits and coordinate with the remote insurance team for claims and pre-authorizations
Confirm appointments and maintain strong patient communication systems
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation within practice management software
Support smooth front-office workflow and collaborate closely with the clinical team
Assist with administrative organization and front-office operational needs as required
Qualifications
Previous dental front desk, scheduling, or treatment coordination experience preferred
Experience using dental practice management software (Eaglesoft, Dentrix, OpenDental, or similar)
Strong scheduling, multitasking, and organizational skills
Professional communication and customer-service skills
Ability to remain calm, efficient, and solution-oriented in a fast-paced environment
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Compensation
Competitive hourly compensation based on experience and responsibilities.
