About the Role: The incumbent is responsible for leading and managing the talent acquisition team to attract, recruit, and retain high-quality talent across the organization. This role involves strategic planning, developing recruitment policies, and ensuring the company attracts top talent to achieve its business goals.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Management:

- Develop and implement talent acquisition strategies and plans aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.

- Forecast hiring needs based on business growth plans and market trends.

- Monitor and analyse recruitment metrics to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.

Team Leadership:

- Lead, mentor, and manage the talent acquisition team, providing guidance and support.

- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the recruitment team.

- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide developmental feedback to team members.

Recruitment Process Management:

- Oversee the entire recruitment lifecycle from job posting to onboarding.

- Ensure recruitment processes are efficient, fair, and compliant with legal requirements.

- Develop and maintain a talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs.

Candidate Sourcing and Attraction:

- Utilize a variety of sourcing methods including job boards, social media, networking, and recruitment agencies.

- Build and maintain relationships with external recruitment partners and institutions.

- Implement employer branding initiatives to enhance the company's reputation as an employer of choice.

Stakeholder Management:

- Collaborate with department heads and hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide recruitment support.

- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to keep them informed about recruitment progress and challenges.

- Manage expectations and ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.

Employee Relations:

- Serve as a trusted point of contact for employee concerns and grievances.

- Implement employee engagement initiatives to improve job satisfaction and retention.

Performance Management:

- Design and manage performance appraisal processes.

- Identify training and development needs and coordinate relevant programs.

Compliance and Legal:

- Ensure HR policies and practices comply with applicable laws and regulations.

- Stay up-to-date with HR trends and evolving employment laws.

Benefits Administration:

- Manage employee benefits programs, including health, retirement, and wellness plans.

- Handle benefits inquiries and resolve issues.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment records and reports.

- Provide regular recruitment metrics and analysis to senior management.

Qualifications:

Education: Masters degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

Experience: Minimum of 15-20 years of experience in talent acquisition, talent management, talent strategy and talent operations, with at least 5-7 years in a managerial role.

- Proven experience in managing end-to-end recruitment processes and leading a robust HR team.

- Experience in handling senior-level and niche roles in terms of recruitment.

- Experience in handling employee engagement, employee relations and aligning the structural policies that pertains to employee wellness.

Required Skills:

- Leadership and Team Management: Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.

- Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement effective recruitment strategies.

- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse data and metrics to make informed decisions regarding recruitment strategies.

- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR software.
