Ahlcon Parenterals (India) Limited, a B. Job Responsibilities:
• Overseeing all manufacturing activity in the plant to meet the productivity targets by -
• Ensuring availability of all required RM/PM
• Planning and requisitioning of necessary approved manpower
• Reducing setup and other operational losses
• Minimizing breakdown losses through appropriate maintenance and recovery plan
• Optimizing the process steps or the SOPs
• Coordinating with other Departments for minimizing disruption of manufacturing operations, by -
• Optimizing product scheduling with SCM (Planning) team
• Avoiding SFG buildup together with Packing team
• Streamlining bottle pack operations with help from Bottle-Pack team
• Undertaking AM, PM, repairs and recipe setups together with Engineering Maintenance team
• Doing shutdown scheduling with help from Projects team
• Planning and executing various initiatives to deliver above target Batch yield and below limit MUV
• Ensuring total GMP compliance in the area of responsibility, by -
• Reviewing and refining relevant SOPs
• Undertaking regular visits to all areas to verify practice compliances
• Carry out periodic internal audits to identify gaps and propose corrective actions
• Supervise QMS activities like PQ, PV, Hold-time or media-fill studies and Investigations
• Managing the Manufacturing Team by -
• Proposing and securing approval from management for the required headcount
• Selecting suitably qualified, skilled and trained manpower to fill approved positions
• Developing SMEs for each critical operational area
• Percolating department targets as KPis for the team with respect to efficiency, output, quality and safety aspects
• Training and developing the team members for existing and new activities / responsibilities
• Coordinating with the Plant Management or OPEX team for -
• Annual capacity planning along with productivity and yield KPls with the objective of improving these continuously up to global benchmarks
• Planning and Approvals for headcount
• Evaluating requirements in terms of additions, upgradations and replacement of equipment and instruments and securing investment approval for the same
Contributing to organization's financial objectives by -
• Co-owning the NQC targets
• Meeting cost saving targets related to the department agreed with the management
• Executing approved investments in the department within budget and timeline
• Ensuring all time Audit Readiness in Area of responsibility, through -
• Monitoring of proper housekeeping and cleanliness
• Ensuring adherence by the team to specified personal hygiene requirements
• Verifying availability of approved SOPs, Logbooks and Records
• Aligning all manufacturing practices with SOPs
• Identifying Root Causes for deviations via investigations and executing CAPAs
• Identifying and proposing changes in equipment, SOPs, technologies etc. to improve yield, efficiency, quality, cost and safety of operations and implementing them after relevant approvals
• Enabling Technology Transfer for new products for their proposed commercialization
• Reporting relevant Manufacturing KPis to the management and presenting them at various reviews
• Accepting any other project, activity or responsibility, within or outside the area of activity, if assigned by the DGM Manufacturing or the Plant Head.
Educational Qualification and Experience:
• Regular M. Pharma
• Candidate should possess minimum 15 years (+/- 2 years) in Pharma plants. Parenteral experience desirable.
