Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dermatologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in dermatological care, with the ability to diagnose and treat a wide range of skin conditions. This role requires excellent patient care skills, a thorough understanding of medical terminology, and the capability to work effectively in both acute care and outpatient settings. The Dermatologist will play a crucial role in enhancing patient health and well-being through comprehensive skin assessments and treatments.
Duties
Conduct thorough examinations of patients’ skin, hair, and nails to diagnose conditions.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and medical history.
Administer medications and treatments for various dermatological issues.
Provide pain management solutions for patients experiencing discomfort.
Capable of providing a wide range of skin rejuvenation treatments, including botox, fillers, chemical peels, microneedling, laser or phototherapy treatments.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
Maintain accurate medical records using electronic health record systems .
Educate patients on skincare routines, preventive measures, and treatment options.
Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with advancements in dermatology.
Manage pediatric dermatology cases with sensitivity and expertise.
Qualifications
Medical degree (MD or DO) with specialization in Dermatology.
Board certification in Dermatology is preferred.
Proficiency in medical terminology and documentation practices.
Experience with acute care settings is advantageous.
Familiarity with electronic health record systems is a plus.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages.
Commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a compassionate manner.
Previous experience in a medical office setting is beneficial.
