Interior Design Specialist
Dar is an international multidisciplinary consulting organization specializing in engineering, architecture, planning, environment, project management, facilities management, and economics.
Job Overview:
• Collaborate with a team to develop conceptual design ideas and create building interior drawings that balance aesthetics and functionality.
• Analyze user requirements through research and contribute to the development of designs.
• Present and express architectural interior design ideas and plans through free-hand sketches.
• Prepare a comprehensive set of construction drawings, documents, and specifications for architectural interior design while maintaining industry standards.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field.
• 4-10 years of relevant experience with strong technical competence.
• Proficient in software such as Revit, Sketchup, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite.
• Additional skills in software like Dynamo, Lumion, Photoshop, Illustrator are advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
• Texturing and material product selection.
• Furniture, decorative lighting, equipment, and window treatment product selection and specification.
• Ergonomics.
• Architectural interior lighting.
• Sanitary fixtures, fittings, and accessory products.
• Disability codes and their applicability to layouts.
