Role Overview
As a Design Coordinator, you will lead the creation of visually impactful designs for
product packaging, marketing campaigns, and brand collateral. You’ll ensure
consistency across our diverse portfolio while aligning with business objectives and
consumer preferences. This role requires a blend of creativity, technical expertise, and
cross-functional collaboration to drive brand success in competitive FMCG markets.
Key Responsibilities
● Packaging & Brand Design: Design innovative, market-ready packaging for
personal care and FMCG products, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and
regulatory standards (e.g., labeling laws).
Marketing Collateral: Develop in-store promotions, point-of-sale (POS) materials,
print/digital advertisements, and social media content to amplify brand visibility.
● Brand Consistency: Maintain and evolve visual identities (logos, typography,
color palettes) across product lines to strengthen brand recognition.
● Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with R&D, marketing, and production
teams to translate product features into consumer-centric designs.
● Trend Analysis: Monitor FMCG and personal care design trends, incorporating
insights to ensure our products stand out on shelves and online.
● Project Management: Oversee end-to-end design workflows, from concept to
print-ready files, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
● Vendor Coordination: Liaise with printers, illustrators, and agencies to ensure
accurate execution of designs.

● Creative Problem-Solver: Ability to merge aesthetics with functionality for
mass-market appeal.
● Detail-Oriented: Precision in layout, color accuracy, and adherence to technical
specifications (e.g., dielines, print requirements).
● Consumer Empathy: Deep understanding of target demographics, particularly in
personal care, to create relatable designs.
● Adaptability: Flexibility to work across diverse product categories (e.g., personal
care, food, building materials).
Technical Proficiency: Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop,
InDesign), Canva, and familiarity with 3D rendering tools (e.g., Blender) for
packaging mockups.
● Collaborative Spirit: Strong communication skills to articulate design choices to
non-creative stakeholders.
● Innovation-Driven: Passion for experimenting with sustainable materials,
minimalist design, or cost-effective solutions.
Basic Qualifications
● 3+ years of experience in design/marketing/development, preferably in FMCG,
personal care, or consumer goods.
● Portfolio showcasing packaging design, branding projects, and marketing
collateral.
● Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Packaging Design, or related field.
●Preferred Qualifications
● Experience with regulatory standards for FMCG packaging (e.g., ingredient lists,
barcoding).
● Knowledge of print production processes (CMYK, Pantone, dielines).
● Familiarity with 3D design software or UX/UI tools for digital assets.
● Background in a manufacturing or multi-product environment.
