Major Deliverables
• Providing solution to design challenges for FOAK products.
• Create different concepts using computer aided design/Modelling software.
• Finalize concepts using tools like PUGH matrix.
• Perform DFMEA
• Design for Manufacturing, Assembly and Service
• Cost estimation. Cost control by innovative configuration & design optimization.
• Perform Heat exchanger and Pressure vessel mechanical design.
• Perform ASME, TEMA, IBR and other code calculations.
• Correct and timely completion of Engineering of prototype design for the assigned project by guiding draftsmen & checking their drawings thoroughly, coordination & follow-up with vendors.
• Identify and evaluate the suitable vendor for new component manufacturing.
• Prepare Technical specification for Mechanical components and Technical Evaluation of vendor offers.
• Perform the required test to establish the reliability of the new developed components.
• Essential Attributes
• Highly creative in New Product Design
• Design experience on heat exchanger and pressure vessel and reactors and columns.
• Familiar with FMEA
• Able to guide checkers and draftsman on detail drawings.
• Resourceful, Creative, a fast learner, Self-driven, self-motivated.
• Total desirable Years of Experience
6 + yrs.
• Minimum Years of Experience in relevant role

• Qualifications
• E/M.E in Mechanical Engineering
• Desired type of Experience
• Minimum 3 years experience in Research Environment
• Should be able to carry out mechanical design of components.
• Should be able to work on analytical calculation and Numerical solutions.
• Hands on experience of different 3D software and PV Elite.
