Proficiency in CATIA V5/V6 (Part Design, Surface Modeling, Assembly, and Drafting)
Strong experience in plastic product design for automotive interior and exterior trims
Sound knowledge of injection molding processes and manufacturing feasibility
Solid understanding of GD&T and design for manufacturability (DFM) principles
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team collaboration skills
Qualification:
B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Automotive, or Production Engineering
Role & Responsibilities:
Design and develop automotive plastic components (interior and exterior trims) in line with OEM standards and best practices.
Ensure designs meet manufacturability, quality, and cost requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product validation, tooling, and production readiness activities.
Participate in design reviews and ensure timely delivery of 3D/2D design data and documentation.
