Job Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and creative Design Executive Intern to join our dynamic design team. This internship provides hands-on experience in bathroom space planning, technical design, and client interaction. You will work closely with senior designers and industry experts to enhance your skills and gain real-world knowledge of interior design processes.
Roles & Responsibilities:
As a Design Executive Intern at Mybathspace, you will gain hands-on experience in bathroom space design and assist in various aspects of the design process. Your key responsibilities will include:
1- Assist in Design:
Support the design team in developing creative and functional bathroom layouts. Learn to design floor plans, 3D models, and renderings using design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Revit.
Technical Drawings & Specifications:
Assist in preparing technical drawings and specifications related to bathroom layouts, plumbing, electrical, and other essential systems.
2- Support Design Process:
Work closely with senior designers to help with project milestones, brainstorming sessions, and resolving design-related challenges.
3-Site Visits & Measurements:
Accompany the team for site visits to take measurements, assess current conditions, and assist with documentation.
4-Material & Product Selection:
Assist in researching and selecting materials, fittings, and fixtures that align with the design concepts and client requirements.
5-Client Interaction & Presentation:
Participate in client meetings to understand their needs and present design concepts effectively.
Requirements:
Pursuing or completed a degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
Familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Revit (preferred but not mandatory).
Strong creative and analytical thinking abilities.
Willingness to learn and contribute proactively.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
