Job description
City Property (Glasgow) LLP seeks a Design & Safety Advisor to champion Health & Safety for Technical Services, ensuring compliance with H&S Regulations.
The successful candidate will provide specialist professional advice and recommendations, prepare project level CDM compliance strategies, and undertake due diligence of the Principal Designer role.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide expert advice on industry-related matters.
Maintain project level CDM compliance strategies.
Undertake due diligence of the Principal Designer role.
Inform clients on their duties under the CDM Regulations.
Review implications of procurement methods on CDM regulations.
Coordinate health and safety matters.
Carry out design reviews and other technical duties.
Represent the LLP in a professional manner, forming strong working relationships with clients.
Person Specification:
NEBOSH Health and Safety Management for Construction (UK) or equivalent.
Construction related qualification to a minimum of HNC.
A recognised professional qualification such as Chartered Engineer, Chartered Architect, or Chartered Building Surveyor.
Certified member of the Association for Project Safety (CMaPS).
Commitment to CPD with supporting evidence.
Full driving licence.
Experience of working on diverse non-domestic assets.
Excellent communication, presentation, and report writing skills.
Excellent time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Client management skills, skilled in Microsoft programmes.
Salary: £42,405.2+ - £4+,312.56 per annum (GRD04 Grade 7)
Contract: Permanent (Hybrid Working)
Entitlements: 26 days annual leave +12.5 public holidays, pension with Strathclyde Pension Fund
